Overview

Avatars and wearables are at the core of your identity on OpenPage. Your avatar is a 3D representation of an NFT you own — it follows you across your profile, communities, and compatible worlds like Otherside. Wearables are equippable items that let you customize how your avatar looks. Whether you’re collecting and styling avatars or creating wearables for others to equip, this section covers everything you need to know.

How It Works

Every avatar on OpenPage is backed by an Open Avatar token. This token stores your avatar’s MML URL, which defines its 3D model, equipped wearables, and saved loadout. When you make changes in the Open Avatar Studio and hit Save, the token updates — so your look carries across the platform. Wearables are tokenized 3D items created by community creators. Once minted, collectors can equip them in the Studio across compatible avatar slots.
