Getting Started

Connect your wallet using the Connect button on the homepage or navigation bar. OpenPage supports account creation for holders of supported avatar collections.
Any collection with a Community Page on OpenPage can import their collection. We currently support imports from Ethereum mainnet, ApeChain, and Base. Browse the platform to discover active communities and supported collections.
No. Keep your valuable NFTs safe in a cold wallet and connect to OpenPage using a delegated hot wallet. OpenPage discovers any delegated assets and lets you display them or create pages with them. We currently support delegation via Delegate.xyz and Warm.xyz.
If you don’t see your delegated assets, make sure you’re connected to the correct wallet and hit the refresh icon in the delegates list. If the issue persists, open a support ticket.

For Creators

You need a Community Page on OpenPage, a Community Vault set up under Community Settings, and enough Create Units to cover publishing costs.
Create Units are the credits used to publish Collectibles on OpenPage. Each submission (avatar, wearable, collectible, etc.) costs a set number of Create Units.
Review process is only applicable for Avatar and Wearable submissions. You should be notified within 1–2 business days after publishing. Submissions must use original artwork or IP you own or have rights to.
When publishing, you select a blockchain — ApeChain (priced in APE) or Base (priced in USDC). You can also set conditions: Open, Discount, or Gate access. Leave the price at 0 for a free mint.
Yes. From your Community Page, click the three dots (⋯) on the top right corner of the collectible and select UNPUBLISH. This returns it to a Draft state where you can make changes — such as updating the mint start/end date or MML URL — then republish when ready.
If your collectible is an avatar or wearable, republishing will send it through the approval process again.

Badges

Badges are on-chain achievements that communities and partners award to collectors. They provide a way to gamify engagement, recognize participation, and build reputation across the platform.
Go to op.xyz/home and click on Badges. This will show all the badges you’re holding across your linked wallets.
Badges are issued by Communities created on OpenPage, so you’ll find a badge section on each community page if they’ve issued a badge. If you meet the eligibility requirements, there is a Claim button on the badge page. Many creators gate their badge with a code. If you’ve received a code, go to op.xyz/claim or click the <> icon at the top of OP.xyz. Type in the code and it will take you to the associated badge page where you can click Claim to collect it.Learn more about earning badges →

Shopping & Minting

Visit the Shop at op.xyz/shop. You can browse featured sets and collectibles on the homepage, or go to op.xyz/collectibles to search and filter by type — Art, Avatars, Themes, or Wearables.Full shopping guide →
Payment depends on the blockchain the collectible is deployed to. ApeChain accepts APE. Ethereum accepts APE, ETH, USDC, and USDT. Base accepts ETH, USDC, and USDT. Your wallet must be connected with sufficient funds on the correct network.
These are mint conditions set by the creator. Open means anyone can mint at the listed price. Discount offers reduced pricing to badge holders or allowlisted wallets. Gate restricts minting to specific badge holders or allowlisted wallets only — if you don’t qualify, the mint button won’t be available.

Avatars & Wearables

The Open Avatar Studio is where you switch between 3D avatars you own, equip wearables across different slots, and save your loadout. When you save, the Studio captures a profile photo and updates the MML URL on your Open Avatar token — so your look carries across the platform and into compatible worlds like Otherside.Learn more about the Studio →
Open the Studio from your avatar page, select a wearable slot (Headwear, Neck, Back, Side, Top, Bottom, or Footwear), and choose a wearable you own. Hit Save to lock in your loadout.Full guide to equipping avatars & wearables →
Wearable slots fall into two categories. Accessory slots (Headwear, Neck, Back, Side) support both custom GLBs and OP Blanks across multiple avatar collections. Body-bound slots (Top, Bottom, Footwear) only support OP Blanks on OP Avatars.See the full slot breakdown →
Yes. The Studio has built-in tools at the bottom of the screen — play animations (emotes and dances), then use the camera tool to record video in square, portrait, or landscape format. You can also capture photos.Content creation guide →
Saving captures a profile photo and updates the MML URL stored on your Open Avatar token. This means your equipped avatar and wearables persist across the platform and compatible experiences.
Your Open Avatar token is an on-chain token that stores your avatar’s MML URL — which defines your 3D model, equipped wearables, and saved loadout. When you make changes in the Studio and hit Save, the token updates so your look carries across the platform and into compatible worlds like Otherside.
Wearables are filtered by compatibility with your currently selected avatar. Not all wearables work with every avatar collection. Body-bound slots (Top, Bottom, Footwear) only support OP Blanks on OP Avatars, and accessory slots (Headwear, Neck, Back, Side) depend on which collections the creator enabled when publishing. If you switch avatars, the available wearables may change.
From your Community Page, go to + Create → Create Collectible → Avatar. Walk through the wizard: Type → Details → Config → Pricing → Mint Period → Publish. You’ll need to provide hosted URLs for your MML, VRM, and Animation (GLB) files.
You must host your own MML, GLB, and VRM files. OpenPage provides URL fields where you paste your hosted links.

From your Community Page, go to + Create → Create Collectible → Wearable. You can use OP Blanks (recommended) to design in the Creator Studio, or upload a custom GLB for accessory slots. After setup, publish and your wearable enters review.Full wearable creation guide →
For avatars, yes. You must host your own MML, GLB, and VRM files and paste publicly accessible URLs into the provided fields. Make sure your links are not temporary (e.g., from an editor session) and are testable in a private or logged-out browser. For wearables and 3D objects, no. OpenPage handles hosting for these — you upload your files directly through the creation wizard.Avatar submission details →
OP Blanks are pre-made wearable templates that handle scale, positioning, and rig compatibility for you. They’re available for Headwear, Tops, Bottoms, Back, and Footwear slots. You choose a Blank as your base in the Creator Studio, upload your artwork to the UV map, and save — no 3D modeling experience required.Full wearable creation guide →
Avatars use GLB (Binary glTF) as the preferred format, with a max file size of 30MB, up to 50,000 triangles, and textures at 2048x2048px or smaller. You’ll also need an idle (looping) and talking animation at 30 FPS minimum. For the full spec list and pre-submission checklist, see the Avatar Submission Guidelines.Full avatar specs →
Yes, but only for accessory slots (Headwear, Neck, Back, Side). When creating with a custom GLB, you can select multiple avatar collections and position the wearable individually for each one. Body-bound slots (Top, Bottom, Footwear) are limited to OP Avatars using OP Blanks only.Slot breakdown and creation guide →

Troubleshooting

Make sure you’re connected to the correct hot wallet (not the cold wallet). Hit the refresh icon in the delegates list. If assets still don’t appear, verify your delegation is active on Delegate.xyz or Warm.xyz, then try again. If the issue persists, open a support ticket.
Make sure you have your Open Avatar (OP Avatar) page set up — the Studio button only appears once setup is complete. If the Studio loads but Save isn’t responding, try refreshing the page and ensuring your wallet is still connected.
Check that the wearable is compatible with your avatar collection and slot type. Body-bound slots (Top, Bottom, Footwear) only work with OP Blanks on OP Avatars. If the wearable should be compatible but isn’t appearing, try refreshing and re-equipping in the Studio.
Submissions are reviewed for original artwork, IP ownership, content safety, and technical compliance. Review the pre-submission checklist in the Avatar Submission Guidelines or Creating OP Wearables guide before resubmitting.
Only MML-compatible 3D avatars appear in the Studio’s avatar selector. If your avatar doesn’t show up, check that the token has a valid MML URL in its metadata. 2D or non-compatible assets won’t be listed. If you believe the MML URL is correct, try refreshing the page and reconnecting your wallet.
This is usually a scale, origin, or positioning issue. Make sure your GLB has its origin set to 0,0, contains no cameras, armatures, poses, or lighting — only the mesh and materials. Use the Gizmo tool in the Creator Studio to adjust placement, rotation, and scale per avatar collection. Test with animations using PREVIEW before publishing.GLB requirements →
